Hey Everyone!
Things are going really well with this project! The PCT students participated in a "Dot Mocracy" event where they helped design the playground. The staff and kids were excited to be a part of picking out some great components! The triple slide was definitely a huge hit as was the curved net wall. There was a lots of interest in some other equipment (i.e. climbing net and swings) so we will have to work hard to make sure we raise enough money to buy other equipment!
The Home Depot Foundation sent us $3000 for our project. Next time you are in Home Depot, tell them thank you for their support!
Pledges from the kids are coming in almost everyday. Thank you again to JB Print for the fabulous pledge forms! The kids have collected $2000 already and there is more to come!
Thank you to everyone who has been a big part of this project thus far. We look forward to giving many people the opportunity to contribute in whatever way possible.
Soon we will post our playground design, so stay tuned!
